Cleary Hall Use Policies
The use of parish halls complies with all rules for use of parish facilities established by the Diocese of Peoria. The Diocese requires Special Events Coverage or a Certificate of Insurance for any non-parish-sponsored event, regardless of the number of people in attendance, and whether or not alcohol is served. The cost of this special events insurance is $100.00 and is paid directly to Dunne Property in Peoria. In lieu of purchasing the Special Events Insurance, the renter may provide a Certificate of Insurance documenting general liability coverage of $1 million per use. The certificate must name the parish and the Catholic Diocese of Peoria as additionally insured. As do most of the other parishes in the Rock Island Vicariate, St. Anne Parish charges a rental fee for parishioner or non-parishioner use of the hall.
Most charge a flat $100.00 fee for 3 to 4 hours of use and then a additional fee ($25 to $50) for use of kitchen facilities as well as set up, clean up and having a paid supervisor appointed by the parish to be present for the event. St. Anne Parish's rental fee is $80.00 an hour for either the Jubilee Room or Victory Room and $100.00 an hour for the Gymnasium. This fee INCLUDES set up, clean up, supervisor, use of kitchen and appliances in kitchen, ice machine, etc.
